Public meetings of the Peshstin Community Council are held at 7:00pm on the third Wednesday of each month at the Peshastin Memorial Hall, due to remodeling of the Peshastin Library, unless otherwise posted here on the web site calendar, in the local media and/or the Peshastin Public Library and Post Office. All are welcome to attend.

The purpose of the Peshastin Community Council is:
- To represent the concerns of the citizens of the Peshastin area (see map here).
- To act as a forum for exchange of ideas affecting the Peshastin area.
- To provide a means of local coordination between groups and agencies on matters affecting the community.
- To advise private developers and governmental agencies of community concerns on actions, approvals, recommendations, and permits affecting private and public development and projects within the community.
- To maintain close communications with the Chelan County Board of Commissioners for the exchange of ideas, opinions and services.
- To make recommendations, on behalf of the community, when it is deemed appropriate.
- To aid in the planning, coordination and production of civic projects, events and activities.
